Posters during the Conference will be presented at the Açores Square in two sessions (see below). Details about the specific place of your poster presentation will be given in due time.

 

Poster dimensions:

• The recommended poster dimensions should be 90 cm (w) x 100 cm (h). We will NOT provide tape or any kind of material for fixing the posters on the panel.

It is advised that all poster participants note the number of their poster so that they post them up during the appropriate session.

Posters from 001 to 080 will be presented in Poster Session 1 (Tuesday 14) and Posters from 081-final, in Poster Session 2 (Thursday 16).

A Committee will review and examine all the posters during the Conference and offer its recommendation to the Organizing Committee for the four bestposters prize (Four sponsored by RSC and two by XVI BMIC/III LABIC). The announcement of the awards will take place during the Closing Ceremony on Friday August 17, 2012.

FOR GRADUATE AND UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS PDF Print E-mail

After long negotiations with the hotel, we achieved a reduction of rates for undergraduate and graduate students. The values for two-bedroom apartments (quad) and three-bedroom (sext) was reduced to R$ 1.120.00 per person plus 6.15% tax giving a total of R$ 1.189.00 reais.

This value is only for undergraduate and graduate students in these 2-bedroom or 3-bedroom apartments (STUDENT CATEGORY). This kind of reservation must be made at the Hotel (call-free 0800 48 1000) and at the time of booking the student must prove their student status.
